Message from Dr Evans, Headteacher:

It is a privilege indeed to be Headteacher of Prince Henry’s High School and to work with such committed students, staff, parents/carers and governors.  As a parent myself, I fully understand that choosing the right school is one of the most important decisions you will ever have to make and I hope our website demonstrates why we are all very proud to be a part of the Prince Henry’s community. Our guiding principle is that of inclusivity and aspiration, where every student has the opportunity to achieve their full potential irrespective of their abilities, aptitudes and strengths. The school’s mission statement is based upon universal values such as acceptance, courtesy, determination, friendship, integrity, resilience and understanding, to name a few.  With these values in mind, we foster the personal qualities of respect, fairness and equality in our students for themselves, and for others. We are confident that you will find that there is a real sense of engagement and purpose, with students enjoying their education at Prince Henry’s. This arises from them feeling that they are being motivated, stretched, valued and supported. We are proud of the numerous opportunities available for our students, both within and outside the curriculum.
